First Adjustable Height Kitchen Faucet Available at Retail Recognized for Innovation

Lake Forest, California (November, 2011) - Pfister™ is pleased to announce that the  Elevate™ EXT, the first adjustable height pull-out kitchen faucet available at retail, was recently named to This Old House’s 2011 list of “100 Best New Home Products.” The unique adjustable height faucet was selected from a sea of products that the This Old House editorial team reviewed, researched and ultimately found to be the most unique and helpful while delivering overall value to consumers.

“We’re thrilled to have one of our signature faucets recognized by such a credible and trusted source as This Old House,” said Greg Williamson, president, Pfister. “We’re equally gratified that so many consumers have embraced what the Elevate EXT has to offer in terms of functionality and style at an accessible price point.”

Pfister first introduced the Elevate EXT kitchen faucet this past February to help address the needs of today’s homeowners – providing them with more freedom to customize the faucet height to fit their needs at any given moment. The spout has three height settings, from eight inches, for a compact look with minimal splashing, to 11 inches for washing large pots and allowing extra clearance. Not only is Elevate EXT’s height adjustable, but the spout swivels a full 360 degrees for maximum maneuverability and positioning. In addition, it features an ergonomic dual function spray head with spray and stream modes, and an extra-long 70 inch pull-out hose that doesn’t leave a spot of the sink untouched. The Elevate EXT from Pfister is available at Lowe’s Home Improvement stores for the suggested retail price of $198. (Product pricing varies by region and store location.)
