Sweepstakes Aims to Help Consumers Create Living Spaces They Love; Lisa LaPorta Offers Design Expertise and Practical Tips

Lake Forest, California (September, 2011) Pfister™ is making it easier than ever for consumers to get inspired to design and create living spaces they love with the Fixture Forward sweepstakes. Announced today, the online sweepstakes features a $5,000 grand prize package, and three additional $500 prize packages aimed at helping winners turn their interior design dreams into reality.

With more than 100 years of experience, Pfister is not only passionate about its products, but also the overall design within the spaces those faucets live. Pfister, as a design resource, is making a commitment to help consumers create spaces for their families to call home, and today proudly announced a partnership with interior designer to the stars and popular television personality, Lisa LaPorta. Lisa’s expertise and willingness to roll up her sleeves has made her one of America’s most popular designers, widely recognized by millions from her roles in successful HGTV shows including, “Designed to Sell,” “Designing for the Sexes,” “Designer’s Challenge,” “Bang for Your Buck,” “Showdown” and “First Time Design.”

The online sweepstakes, which runs through Oct. 19, 2011, goes beyond a simple contest entry page, offering a true resource for consumers with décor ideas, inspiring imagery and helpful, practical tips for choosing the style that best fits them, and then making that vision come to life. Once a style is chosen and the individual is registered, entrants receive a unique referral URL to share with friends and family, as well as myriad of additional methods for earning entries such as: completing surveys, sending email referrals, retweeting Pfister-provided messages, and redeeming promotional codes included in Pfister’s e-newsletter and Facebook and Twitter channels.

Through her partnership with Pfister, Lisa LaPorta’s online design videos hosted on Pfister’s websites, help consumers get inspired, better define their style, and begin implementing their vision to create living spaces they love. LaPorta’s work will also extend beyond the sweepstakes. Over the course of several months following the Fixture Forward campaign, Lisa LaPorta will lend her interior design expertise to consumers by answering their questions via the Pfister website and social media channels.

“Pfister has been one of my go-to brands in both my role as a private designer and television personality, so I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with them,” said Lisa LaPorta. “I’m also equally excited to communicate directly with their followers on Facebook, Twitter and the website and offer some real-life, practical tips and advice – because everyone deserves to live in a space that they love!”

“We’re not only passionate about our products at Pfister, but we’re also passionate about design more broadly, and thinking beyond the faucet to helping people make their house a home,” said Greg Williamson, president, Pfister. “We realize that interior decorating can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we’re aiming to provide a one-stop resource for consumers to find practical tips and design ideas that ultimately give everyone the confidence to create personalized spaces they are proud to call home.”
