New Design-Centric Fixtures Offer Affordable and Stylish Functionality
Chicago, Illinois (April 2008) - Price Pfister®, a leading manufacturer of kitchen and bath fixtures/accessories, today announced its new collection of kitchen and bath solutions at the 2008 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS). Price Pfister’s new product line introductions include the modern-inspired Kenzo™ lavatory family featuring the industry’s first eco-friendly wall mount waterfall trough faucet; two new Thermostatic Shower Systems with a groundbreaking diverter-less technology for its half-inch system; the Saxton™ collection’s full lavatory family with a water-conscious faucet; the Portola™ line’s complete family of traditional-inspired lavatory fixtures; and the Clairmont™ kitchen faucet’s ergonomic design with a pull-out spray head. Modern-Inspired Lavatory Product Offerings
The highlight of Price Pfister’s K/BIS introductions is the modern-inspired Kenzo bath collection, which caters to the growing demand for highly stylized minimalist designs. Kenzo features the industry’s first wall mount waterfall trough faucet that also is available in a variety of additional configurations including single control centerset, single control vessel, and eight-inch widespread, all of which conserve water with a 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) flow rate versus the 2.2 gpm industry standard mandated by the Federal Energy Policy Act of 1992. The Eco-Pfriendly™ Kenzo trough faucet currently is being tested to meet the EPA’s WaterSense specification for high-efficiency lavatory faucets.
Kenzo offers a fully coordinated look with its matching roman tub products, tub-shower products and bidet option to complete the collection’s full line of lavatory products. The Kenzo collection’s sleek architecture offers a modern selection for trendy urban developments and hospitality settings, and will be available in chrome and satin nickel finishes when the line launches this summer.
Innovative Thermostatic Shower Systems
Price Pfister also is introducing its first Thermostatic Shower Systems at K/BIS. A leader in innovation, Price Pfister offers the 1/2” TX8 Thermostatic Shower System, which features the industry’s first diverter-less body spray. This ground-breaking design significantly improves installation time and delivers a 50 percent reduction in cost and labor. The high-flow TX8 value delivers more than 7.0 gpm at 60 pounds per square inch (psi) to support body sprays and an invigorating raincan showerhead. This half-inch system exceeds expectations for new construction and remodeling projects with an enhanced shower experience at an exceptional value.
The 3/4" Thermostatic Shower System is the ultimate choice in luxury for the fully customized shower. It delivers a flow rate of more than 12 gpm with water pressure at 60 psi and features a versatile style that seamlessly adapts to contemporary or traditional décor. This Thermostatic Shower System provides an entirely customizable shower, offering a completely coordinated display of universal body sprays, raincan shower head, hand shower packages, volume control valves, and a three-way diverter valve.
Price Pfister’s Thermostatic Shower Systems will launch this summer and will be available in chrome, nickel and Tuscan bronze finishes.
Fresh Line of Lavatory Fixtures
Featuring an eye-catching fusion of contemporary and traditional styles, the newly introduced Saxton collection provides a transitional design for today’s bath, and a full line of lavatory fixtures, including an invigorating raincan shower head and hand shower. This new bath collection features water-efficient lavatory faucets with a 1.5 gpm flow rate. The Saxton collection will launch this summer and will be available in chrome, satin nickel and Tuscan bronze finishes.
Also making its début at K/BIS, the Portola family offers a complete line of traditional style lavatory fixtures. This collection features a tub-shower configuration and coordinating faucets available in eight-inch widespread, four-inch single control, and four-inch centerset. This trade-exclusive offering will launch in the summer in chrome, satin nickel and Tuscan bronze finishes.
