How do I know when the filters need to be replaced?

Where can I purchase replacement GE filter cartridges?
Replacement filters can be purchased at select home improvement centers or online. For more information please visit www.gewaterfilters.com.
How do I change the filter cartridges?
The GE® filter cartridges are equipped with a “twist & lock” mechanism.
To remove, simply twist the cartridge clockwise and then pull the filter down. To insert the new cartridge, twist counterclockwise until the cartridge is locked.
Can this faucet dispense warm and hot filtered water?
No. This filter system filters water from the cold water supply line only.
Why is the faucet not dispensing filtered water all the time?
Limiting the filter mode to only drinking water use extends the filter life.
