Pfister: A Century of Excellence and Innovation
A leader in the plumbing industry, Pfister has built its reputation on innovation, quality and value. We design some of the finest kitchen and bathroom faucets and fixtures on the market today and back them with a lifetime guarantee on their finish and function.
Part of the Stanley Black & Decker Hardware & Home Improvement Group, headquartered in Lake Forest, California, Pfister is fortunate to be part of a world-class organization with global connections.
When we opened our doors in 1910, we knew that we were on to something different. We never compromised on our commitment to quality, including creating products that were often first to market, years ahead of the competition. Every product we produce has undergone strenuous testing to make sure that it not only meets our high standards, but those of our customers as well.
From sleek, modern designs to charming new takes on vintage classics, you’re sure to find a Pfister product that will be right at home in your home.
A History Filled with "Firsts"
While other companies claim to be the first, Pfister has actually been first to market with products our customers want and need.
The following are just a few of our many firsts:
- First to introduce ceramic discs on all its products.
- First to partner with the EPA for WaterSense certified products.
- First to add ceramic discs in shower body sprayers that operate separately from the diverter valve. This saves $350 or more when installing a shower.
- First in the industry to introduce the Kenzo™ wallmount trough faucet, which is also WaterSense certified.
- Embraced green movement early, creating products that have separate volume and flow controls to save precious water.
- Recently introduced the ¾” thermostatic valve that is fully customizable, can be retrofitted to current systems, and has the highest flow rate in the industry.
Committed to the Communities We Serve
As part of the Stanley Black & Decker Hardware and Home Improvement Group (BDHHI), we understand that the vitality of the communities where we work and live is an important part of our success. Our involvement in the community focuses on certain aspects of community revitalization and education.
Community Revitalization
As a community partner, our focus is on affordable housing, housing rehabilitation and ongoing housing renovation programs, particularly those that support home ownership. We actively participate in revitalization projects with neighborhood residents, providing the opportunity for residents to learn home improvement skills and put our products to use.
Education
In the area of education, Pfister puts an emphasis on electrical engineering, electronics, manufacturing, materials, industrial and mechanical programs at colleges and universities that support our recruiting and training initiatives.
We also support school-based math, science and technology programs that support students for college education or for positions that provide technical support for engineers and finally, school-based vocational and skills training programs for construction and related trades, including home improvement.
When possible, we support grants to established organizations in the following areas within the communities where our employees live and work:
- Civic: Organizations engaged in housing-related programs, municipal and statewide improvements and environmental issues.
- Cultural: Organizations such as science centers, museums, libraries, and music organizations.
- Health/Human Services and Youth: Organizations with programs that advance community health; promote job skills and values; strengthen the family unit and promote social and economic well-being in the community.
- Special consideration is given to programs that support a diverse cross-section of the population.
Each of BDHHI’s divisions are encouraged to create and support their own community involvement programs and Pfister is proud to dedicate our time, resources, finances, and personnel to the worthy causes we are privileged to support.
