1.

Leaking/ Noisy Operation:
If the unit is leaking from the handle, leaking at the base, dripping from the spout or making noise when the faucet is turned on or off, you would need to replace the cartridge assembly (974-505) or (974-035) as well as the retainer ring (941-711). Note: Retainer ring 931-900 has been replaced with (941-711). You can download instructions below and follow the steps how to replace the cartridge. Click here if you need to match your cartridge(s) or if would like to see all cartridge types we have. Note: Cartridge 974-570 has been replaced with (974-035).

2.

Handle operation:
If the handle becomes loose, hard to operate or does not stay on the correct position (falls or droops down from desired position), replace the cartridge (974-505) or (974-035) as well as the retainer ring  (941-711). NOTE: Retainer ring 931-900 has been replaced with (941-711). Click here if you need to match your cartridge(s) or if would like to see all cartridge types we have.

3.

Water restriction/No pressure:
If there is water restriction or no pressure in water flow or the flow is irregular, please check for the following:

Step I:   Make sure water supply is turned on fully.
Step II:  Make sure supply lines are flushed and there are no kinks in hoses.
Step III: Check the pull out spout for any debris that may have collected during repair or installation.

Do this by unscrewing spout (counter clockwise) from the hose extension. Direct hose into drain and turn water on. If the pressure of the flow is greater you will need to replace the pull out spout, 920-203a - polished chrome; 920-203l - satin stainless steel; 920-203b - black; 920-203w - white; 920-203t - biscuit). If debris, water sediment or calcium deposits collect within the spray spout, the function will be obstructed and may cause leaking, restriction or insufficient diversion to and from stream and spray modes.

4.

Water no longer switches to stream or spray completely:
If the pull out spout no longer switches between spray and stream completely, the entire spray spout will have to be replaced. The part numbers for the pull out spout are: 920-203a - polished chrome; 920-203l - satin stainless steel; 920-203b - black; 920-203w - white; 920-203t - biscuit). If debris, water sediment or calcium deposits collect within the spray spout, the function will be obstructed and may cause leaking, restriction or insufficient diversion to and from stream and spray modes.

5.

Leaking pull out hose:
If the pull out hose is leaking at the quick connect or threads, has a tear or break in the tubing then hose will need to be replaced with: 951-009. The hose will have quick connect attached.

6.

How do I remove the plastic retainer ring 931-900?
You can order the retainer ring tool removal (950-047) or you can use a 1/2" iron to copper female copper adapter and a pair of pliers over the adaptor.

7.

Soap Dispenser:
If the soap dispenser is not pumping any soap or is pumping out from somewhere other than the tip, we recommend replacing the pump mechanism: 931-537. If the soap dispenser bottle has broken, you would need to replace 950-002.

8.

Refill soap dispenser:
To refill the soap dispenser, remove the soap dispenser head by pulling up on it. The pump (with straw) should remove with the head.  If not, gently pull out pump (with straw) after removing the head.  You may then pour the soap directly into the bottle from the top of your sink.  Once the bottle reaches 3/4 full, you may push the soap dispenser head with pump and straw back onto the dispenser assembly.
